RESCIND BOIL WATER NOTICE: Plant 3 service area. On September 15, 2025, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required Levi Water Supply (PWS 1550035) to issue a Boil Water Notice

to inform our customers that due to a possible presence of contaminants (from replacing a well pump and motor) because of low pressure or disruption of service, water from the Levi System must be boiled prior to consumption.
Levi has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality ahd has provided TCEQ with testing results that the water no longer needs boiling as of 3:00 p.m., September 17, 2025. For questions contact the system manager at 254.857.3050. If a customer wishes to reach TCEQ, the may call 512.239.4631.

WATER PLANT UPDATE - REPAIRS ARE COMPLETED -BOIL WATER NOTICE - Due to a well pump failure at Plant 3, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required Levi Water to notify their customers in the plant 3 service area to boil their water

The Plant 3 service area includes Southwinds North & South of Rosenthal; Birdie Lane, North & South of Rosenthal; Rosenthal Pkwy., West of Losak/Bullhide Creek; Cooksey, East of Southwinds.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, making of ice, brushing teeth, washing face & hands should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from another suitable source. When it is no longer necessary to boil water, Levi Water will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. Instructions to discontinue boiling will be issued in the same manner as this notice.
