WATER PLANT UPDATE - REPAIRS ARE COMPLETED -BOIL WATER NOTICE - Due to a well pump failure at Plant 3, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required Levi Water to notify their customers in the plant 3 service area to boil their water

The Plant 3 service area includes Southwinds North & South of Rosenthal; Birdie Lane, North & South of Rosenthal; Rosenthal Pkwy., West of Losak/Bullhide Creek; Cooksey, East of Southwinds.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, making of ice, brushing teeth, washing face & hands should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from another suitable source. When it is no longer necessary to boil water, Levi Water will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. Instructions to discontinue boiling will be issued in the same manner as this notice.
